Continental will credit the full purchase price of the replacement tire (including costs for mounting, balancing etc. if applicable) for all exchanges made on new Continental Tire tires until July 1st, 2022. After July 1st, 2022 the compensation will based on the currently valid version of the Continental warranty regulation.

In case the affected tires are used over a longer or repeated period of time with heavy loading or possible overloading, a sudden loss of air may occur in rare cases. The active market monitoring of Continental has only shown findings in the VW Caravelle and Multivan application. Continentals market monitoring has not identified comparable fault patterns with the respective tires used on other vehicle types. Continental has been informed about one small property damage (damage to the wheel housing) and is not aware of any personal damage which is linked to this voluntary exchange program.

Our voluntary exchange program started on November 24th, 2021. We have informed the national authorities and are in touch with our dealers to implement the program. The program will run for all concerned Continental-Tires exchanged with new Continental tires until July 1st, 2022 free of cost for consumers.
