Extreme E

Extreme E as new concept of racing will stage races with electric SUVs in extreme conditions to raise awareness for the visible consequences of climate change. The races are taking place at different locations around the world which already show concrete effects of the climate change. Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Greenland, Sardinia were announced as the racing locations for the debut season, and one last exciting spot to be defined.  

Continental is founding partner of the Extreme E series for 2019 and 2020. Beginning with the races we will be a Premium Partner and Tire Supplier in the series 1-3 from 2021 to 2023.

As sponsor of Extreme E we are going to equip the teams with specially made tires and to showcase the performance of Continental tires in extreme conditions in very different environments. 

This underlines our engineering competence and technological expertise.

With Extreme E we want to inspire motorsport enthusiasts and also inform about environmental challenges in an interesting, sporty surrounding.

Extreme E is also an innovative format addressing important trends in our industry like electrification, trends towards SUVs, as well as aiming to create awareness in the topic of sustainability.

The series aims to combine world-class motorsport and driving in the most demanding environments in the world, providing manufacturers with an important platform for research and development of their sustainable mobility solutions.
