Construction fleet D.W. Cary Hauling was looking for a tough tire to withstand demolition sites, with the traction to support muddy farmland deliveries, and provide good mileage on their 200-mile round trip routes. After testing the Conti HSC 3, they’ve found the tire they can depend on.
D.W. Cary Hauling started with one truck and a dream, says owner Darryl Cary. They now have 25 tractor-trailers, 35 dump trucks, and 15 service vehicles.
The tires need to survive demolition sites with rebar and broken concrete, followed by farmland with muddy roads and wet grass. And they need to provide good mileage.
"Being in the construction industry, that load has to get there on time, or we can hold the whole job site up. If we blew a tire, the whole job site could be shut down, waiting on us."
Rick Lorenz, Fleet Manager at D.W. Cary Hauling
"The Conti HSC 3 is doing really good. We're getting really good wear out of it. The drivers are happy with the traction it's getting, and there's no stone drilling. It's doing great highway and off-road." — Rick Lorenz, Fleet Manager
You want a good tire that will hold up under those conditions, that can create good traction. And we get that from the Continental tire.
